Ashley Simmons serves in the city of San Diego as an advocate supporting children with special needs and disabilities. Ms. Simmons Specializes in (IHSS) In-Home Supportive Services, Early Intervention IFSPs & Special Education IEPs. As a mother of a child with Down Syndrome, Ashley personally understands the trials and tribulations parents experience when trying to navigate the journey in applying for services. Unfortunately, the application process to receive IHSS benefits is notoriously difficult and not designed to aid parents going through the process alone and succeed.  Therefore, many families, frustrated with futile attempts, give up after encountering roadblock after roadblock. It is Ashley’s personal goal to fight with determination and succeed in getting families set up with all the benefits and services your child is entitled to and deserves.
